What a change. I let my hair grow to the middle of my back. It’s not “fashionable” for college-aged people, but I love it. I started to use henna instead of dye, stopped fixing my hair and clothes and makeup all the time, stopped wearing painful shoes and trendy tacky clothing and started to embrace my own eclectic appearance.
I say what I mean and mean what I say, all of the time.
For a long time. I’ve been a vegetarian since I was seven. I hated milk but drank it “for health.” Eggs too. Too much laziness with baked goods and fast food and cheese pizza…finally I realized that eliminating pain and illness from my diet would help do the same for my body.
I have no more mysterious allergic symptoms, no migraines, pimples, stomachaches, and my anxiety and anger have subsided.
